Our athletes spend hours on the ice and in the gym, training and strengthening their bodies. But the fuel that they use to give them energy and rebuild their muscles is just as important.
Many of our students take the Food and Nutrition HFN1O class, where they learn about the best ways to fuel their bodies. This very often involves cooking. By learning to cook, the kids can control exactly what they are eating and adjust it to their needs and tastes. It is also an excellent life skill for college and beyond.
