With two teams on the road, there were a lot of kids gone. But, as they say, the show must go on. Even if a teacher is traveling with the team, another one of us will fill in and make sure the kids get their assigned work done.
We have been really impressed with the way the kids have dived into their school work. It will get harder to make time for all of the things they need to do (school, train, skate, eat, sleep) as the hockey season really starts to roll. But if they set good habits early, the kids should handle it just fine.
After school on Friday, the kids still found the energy for physical activity. Ah, to be young!
